What is Milk Thistle Extract
Milk Thistle Extract is also named Silybum Marianum Extract, which is made from the dried seeds of Silybum marianum. Extraction part used is seed, which is the source of the active ingredient silymarin & silybinin.
Milk thistle contains several groups of substances: Flavonolignans: Silymarin an isomer mixture of the flavonolignans silybin, silychristin and silydianin and other flavonolignans like isosilybin, isosilichristin, dehydrosilibin and dehydrosilichristin.
