Spirulina Blue
Introduction
Spirulina blue color is a kind of natural pigment extracted and processed from spirulina plants. The main components are algocyan and phycocyanin with characteristic light blue color. It not only has bright color but also contains rich protein, the amino acid composition is complete and the essential amino acid accounted for 37.2% of all.
Phycocyanin can help regulate the various important enzymes needed in the human body, which plays an important role in inhibiting the growth of cancer cells and promoting the regeneration of human cells, and phycocyanin can also improve the immune system. Spirulina blue color is a kind of protein binding pigment, with the same properties as protein.Its final product is blue particles or powders, easily soluble in water and insoluble in ethyl alcohol and grease. It sensitive to heat, light and acid, while it is stable under weak acid and neutral conditions (PH4.5-8). However, there will be sediment while it meets acid (pH4.2), and strong alkali can make phycocyanin discolor. It has poor stability to metal ions and poor coloring ability.
